In 2019 due to the building of West Link in Gothenburg the old Stjärnornas Krog closed for the final time as it would not open for the 2020 season, and in 2021 the brand new 1923 was opened in it's place. The new restaurant was designed to optimise space and payed homage to the parks opening year in 1923, looking back at the styles from that era and Liseberg's heritage. I worked on the wall murals and graphic elements which looked at some of the styles that were around Liseberg in the 1920's, particularly the still existing front gate. In both wall murals I created you can see elements and patterns within the front gate represented, making this a truly unique Liseberg experience.
